Public groups and organizations that utilize Lauxmont Farms on a Regular Basis

Several times a week, the following organizations are on the farm.
  • “Visitors Always Welcome" Policy - at Lauxmont Farms we encourage people to stop by and tour the farm and print "Visitors Always Welcome" on all our literature.

    Girl Scouts - PLGSC Brownie Troop
  • Boy Scouts
  • Inner City Outreach Programs
  • Many School Field Trips including the following:

    - The Susquehanna Waldorf School
    - Columbia Area Schools
    - Eastern York Area Schools
    - Donegal Area Schools
    - 4-H
    - FFA (Future Farmers of America)
     

  • Open Houses and Field Days - showcasing the activities on the farm
  • Kid's Summer Camps
  • Working Student Program - students are trained in the care and maintenance of livestock
  • Birthday Parties (on site) - Pony Rides
  • Organization Picnics (off & on site) - Pony Rides - Church and Business
  • We Winter 10 - 15 horses from the Girl Scout Summer Camps every year
Our family views Lauxmont as a gift from God –­ one that should be shared with others.  From the date we acquired the farm, we've hosted countless children's groups, scout troops, and youth and church groups at the farm.
