To continue our program of maintaining the basic integrity of the farm, we then opted to sell off several parcels for either small villages or clusters to further retire the debt.  However, in 2002, Lower Windsor Township adopted a comprehensive plan calling for 10-acre minimum lot sizes for the remainder of the farm.  To complete the Chapter 11 reorganization using 10-acre lots would have forced us to dot the entire farm with houses, and would have destroyed the integrity of the farm.  Therefore, we elected to fight the new zoning, that threatened to remove our ability to protect the farm, in any way the law allowed, namely the submission of subdivision plans.
